Denzel Washington never goes to the cinema because the paparazzi ruin the experience for him.
The 58-year-old actor may have a distinguished acting career, but he admits he's not really a fan of taking a trip to the movies himself because he hates being bombarded by photographers afterwards: "I don't go to the movies; well, you know, it becomes a drag. You've got to go to certain theatres. I went to Century City [in Los Angeles, California] once and by the time I came out, they were waiting, the paparazzi, so it kind of messes up your experiences."
The Flight star claims the last film he can remember watching at the cinema was The Hurt Locker - which was released in 2008 - but he is adamant he must have been to see a flick on the big screen at least once in the last five years to watch a movie. "I'm embarrassed to say I'm not much of a film-goer ... I haven't been to the movies in a while. I'm trying to think of the last movie I saw in the theater. It wasn't The Hurt Locker, it had to have been one since then!" he explained.

Johnny Depp's $20 million salary dispute could lead to a lawsuit.
The actor allegedly pulled out of starring in a movie about mobster Whitey Bulger last week after he was asked to cut his eight-figure pay day in half by financiers Cross Creek and Exclusive Media, and sources indicate the contentious situation could lead to an expensive court battle.
"Either his team screwed up and left him exposed or Cross Creek is simply reneging on its deal. Someone is suing someone at the end of this," an insider said.
Johnny, 49, closed a pricey deal to star in Black Mass, however, walked away from his role on May 30 when the producers asked him to slash his fee to $10 million, fearing the picture would cost $63 million - $13 million more than the anticipated budget. The troubles don't end there, though, as producers could face trouble after selling rights to the film in international territories on the basis that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor would star. "The second they asked him to take a cut, that was a mistake. They overplayed their hand," a source said.

Isla Fisher Working on Thriller Script

Isla Fisher is writing a thriller with her mum.
The Great Gatsby star has admitted if she hadn't become an actress, she would have become a full time writer and after mastering the art of performing, she's now ready to try her luck at a screenplay.
The 37-year-old star has teamed up with her mother, Elspeth Reid - who helped her publish two teen novels, Bewitched and Seduced by Fame when she was 18 years old - to create a film, which she claims has been challenging, but amusing.
"My mum and I have actually been writing a script for a thriller together. It's really fun. She doesn't understand the rules of screenwriting, so I'm often like, 'What?! Mum, you can't kill off the protagonist on page 10!' She breaks all the rules, which makes it original at least. We've had a scream doing it," she said.
‘Hangover III’: the Hangover That Just Won’t End

Toy Story 3, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade and Return of The Jedi are some of the most well reviewed films of the last 30 years. They are considered great films despite being the third film in a successful franchise. The Hangover III won't go down in history as the worst threequel of all-time, but it definitely forces itself into the discussion with characters that haven't changed one bit since the first film and a stale formula that expired about 5 minutes into Part III.
One of the things the things the film has going for it is its return to gags that center themselves around the repartee (if you can call it that) between the three major characters. Too bad this film forces Leslie Chow down our throats for the majority of the 100 minute running time, whom I have deemed the Jar Jar Binks of comedy films. Okay, maybe he's not that bad, but part of the charm of Mr. Chow in previous Hangover installments was the fact that he showed up when we least expected it.

Box Office Breakdown: ‘Now You See Me,’ ‘After Earth’ Trail Behind

Neither magic tricks nor an futuristic-yet-abysmal Will Smith vehicle were enough to bring Fast & Furious 6 down from its number one position. The car thriller held its own in its second week at the theaters with $34.5 million while newcomers Now You See Me and After Earth just couldn't make the cut to the top spot.
The Louis Leterrier-helmed Now You See Me placed second with $28 million while M. Night Shyamalan's After Earth debuted with $27 million (even removing Shyamalan's name from promotional material for the film couldn't guarantee a better debut). Epic stayed put at number four in its second week with $16.4 million while Star Trek Into Darkness fell two spots to number five.

Courtney Love Says Frances Bean Was Offered ‘Twilight’ Lead

Courtney Love recently confirmed in an interview with Howard Stern that her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, was offered the role of Bella Swan in Twilight (a role that eventually went to Kristen Stewart, catapulting her to mega-famedom) and ended up turning it down. Between that and her recent Twitter tirade over reality star Kendall Jenner's inconsiderate pity-party tweets, Frances Bean is one of the coolest celebrity offspring around these days.
Moreover - if you believe in the accuracy of Love's paraphrasing skills - the 48 year-old musician stated that Frances Bean had a rather eloquent way of turning the part down. "Someone just saw a picture of [Frances Bean] in a magazine and sent me the script,” Love said, going on to recall that her daughter rejected the script, telling her, “That’s a sexist, Mormon, piece of s***.”
While Love has dabbled in film, Frances Bean has yet to make her big screen debut. When If (given her apparent disdain for Hollywood, the notion of her acting seems unlikely) she does decide to act, I'd be the first to throw my money at her project.

Jessica Chastain Rules Out ‘Rodham’ Role

The list of actresses rumored to be in the running to portray Senator Hillary Clinton in Rodham has just been shortened by one.
When answering questions at a press conference for the charity event Sound of Change in London last night, Jessica Chastain made it clear that she is not being considered for the role. "No, that's actually not true. I found out about the project online, but, yeah, there's a lot of stuff out there," she said.
Reese Witherspoon, Amanda Seyfried, and Scarlett Johansson are among the other actresses believed to be in the competition for the coveted role. The Spectacular Now director James Ponsoldt will helm the biopic and has already spoken generously about the actresses in the running: “They’re all wonderful actresses. We’re very fortunate that a lot of really great actors are interested in playing these roles. We’re in an enviable position.”
Rodham will focus on Clinton's early days in Arkansas during the Watergate scandal.

Audrey Tautou won't move to Hollywood.
The Amelie actress became a worldwide sensation after breaking out in the hit 2001 French drama, but she insists she has no desire to move to Los Angeles because of the "pressure" placed on actresses to constantly look perfect.
"I am very French and in Hollywood, the pressure is different. It's not the same in France. Of course, oui, the idea of being 'bankable' in France exists but it's not as unforgiving. People staring at every single millimeter of your body and what you wear, it is a huge pressure. Some people are happy with that but me, non," she said.
The 36-year-old star has previously taken lead roles in big American movies such as The Da Vinci Code, but feels she her "ambition is not big enough" for a permanent acting career in Hollywood: "Getting a role like The Da Vinci Code, that's fine. Once in a while, I would love to, but it doesn't work like that. They are not just going to come and pick me up as an actress with all the wonderful actresses they have. If you want to build a career in Hollywood, that is different. You have to move there and for a French person like me, I would have to be away from my friends and family. Cinema is my passion. I admire American directors and I love American movies, but my life is also something which is very important and my ambition is not big enough."

Florence Welch is being considered for a leading role in the new Star Wars trilogy.
The 26-year-old pop diva could be turned into an "overnight" movie star with reports she is being lined up for a huge part in the next installment of the long-running science fiction saga. "We think Florence has the exact style we are looking for. She has done some acting but it was her singing on stage that initially caught the eye. Almost every actress in Hollywood wants a role in the new movies but we are keen to cast people who are unexpected. Florence is being considered for a major part that would turn her into an A-list actress overnight," a source said.
The Florence + The Machine singer would star close to her London home with the recent news the series would be filmed in the UK, with shooting due to start next year.
The movie - planned for a 2015 release - is also expected to see the return of original cast members Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.
Owen Wilson Loved Having Son Visit ‘Internship’ Set

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson loved having their kids on the set of The Internship.
The Wedding Crashers co-stars have reunited for the comedy - which sees them play interns at Google - eight years after their previous success and they were thrilled to have their young kids visit them at work.
"In Wedding Crashers we didn't have little kids visiting the set. It wouldn't have been appropriate maybe for little kids, but I think on The Internship it was nice. It was nice to have my son visit - and Vince's family," Owen said, speaking about his two-year-old son Ford, with ex-girlfriend Jade Duell.
Meanwhile, Vince- who welcomed daughter Locklyn with realtor Kyla Weber in December 2010 -added, "My daughter came to set. That was awesome. I don't know if she'll remember it. She's so young! But it always makes it fun for me."
